Childhood

Albinia Pinheiro
Gone are those days of bindaas living,
Gone are those days of dreaming.
When imagination extended from the four walls,
A Palace of ice cream, a chocolate factory were only my thoughts.
Gone are those days of innocence,
Gone are those days of tantrums.
When people forgave us for whatever we did,
Oh! How much i miss being a kid.
Gone are the days of splashing waters,
Gone are the days of chewing chalks.
When Powerpuff girls, Oswald ruled my world,
When in the mud i swirled.
The trip to park ends,
A new chapter in life begins.
Oh! How i wish to relive those days,
Oh! How much i miss my childhood days.

  • I loved how the references of childhood activities and cartoons is used. That for me takes me back instantly. Great job on that.
