"Great storms don't affect the strongest of birds;
he passes by it as though there were none at all,
and comes out, still healthy and fine
and says that it was a happy journey after all.
The King himself is amused at his resilience.
While watching the bird laugh and giggle with his friends,
and wonders, how can he be the best of what he is?
and loved by all, who are known to him.
But as the sun sets, as the day ends,
as the cold wind starts blowing and
people return to their homes and their friends,
as the sunflower faces down to the Earth;
the strong bird returns to his berth.
And feels sad, and feels powerless
and he feels uncomfortable and he feels honourless.
For no matter how many friends he has in the light,
No one comes and holds him in the dark."
