Mental Trauma

By Vyga

 He gave me mental trauma,

The severest gift for a lover.

As a betrayed soul I wandered for peace,

Nowhere could I find.

My agonies passed to all things I touched,

I became untouchable to the whole world.

My touch nipped off flowers,

My blank face killed smiles,

My existence itself became doubt.

All wound heals leaving scars,

Alike let this pain end,

Leaving just memories

Which I know will become a shadow.

Memories haunt but reality kills.

Realizing no hand would come to lift me,

Its time to move from where I stand.

Let me take a deep breath,

To give my broken soul a moment of comfort.

  • Achingly beautiful. It is so easy to be so damn depressed, but to wake up from trauma takes all our courage.
