Dandelion

By Arenkala Walling

I wonder if dandelion is a young girl.

Does she fret when she’s plucked?

Does she fidget at the thought

Of having to carry someone’s wish?

Does she bow in quiver in shame

When another being undresses her

With a sudden blow solely to

Fulfill a wish?

I fancy she does.

  • It’s “to quiver” , “not in quiver” 😊
