What if you didn’t got the one you have chosen,
What if it’s so fragile and the dream is broken,
The one you didn’t got, were never yours,
Despite the pain that your heart endures,
Why cry over those memories so old?
Those jaded promises that have turned cold,
What’s gone is gone, let it be,
Why cling to hope, can’t you see?
Convincing your mind, he’ll return,
That his love for you will again burn,
You are just gazing down, deserted lanes,
With open arms, hiding your pains,
Look at yourself and your strong esteem,
Don’t waste time on a broken dream,
Don’t halt the one, who has left you,
Let him go, don’t feel so blue,
Look in the mirror and see it clear,
When did you actually lose him dear?
The one you lost has always been you,
As each tear you shed for him, was a piece of you.
