Tides of emotions

By Prachi Vaishnav

Between sky’s embrace and sea’s gentle sigh,
Life wanders beneath the azure sky.

Some find solace in another’s gentle sway,
In their embrace, they find peace to stay.
But sometimes, when parted, they are left to trace
The solitude within, life’s quiet embrace.

Sometimes it roars, sometimes whispers, so still,
In its dance, it flows its own will.

From laughter’s peal to sorrows deep well,
In life’s journey, stories of joy and farewell.
What’s inside each heart, a tale to unfold,
In joy and sorrow, life’s mysteries are told.

If the ocean of pain runs deep and wide,
Let pearls cascade from these eyes’ gentle tide.
Feel them with your cheeks, let them reside,
Within, secrets swirl, where emotions hide.

Balancing highs and lows, it learns to sway,
Accepting each moment, come what may.
In happiness’ song, or sorrow’s silent plea,
In life’s rhythm, find your melody.

In life, not everything goes as planned,
But if it does, it’s a source of joy so grand.
And if it doesn’t, why does it hurt so much?
Everywhere, there’s something to learn and touch.

So in such times, it’s crucial to detach and see,
From the confines of one’s emotions, be free.

So don’t be too elated in joy’s sweet rain,
Nor too disheartened in sorrow’s pain.
Maintain a balance, let your spirit fly,
For in life’s dance, find your own sky.
