The Will

One day when my mortal journey reaches its end
I wish to be forgotten.
Please don't name my progenies after me
I wish my name to vanish in the air.
The countless photos and videos with my face
I pray you delete them all and
Let me fade into oblivion.
May be a handful would shed a little tear,
Say some sentimental words, a few anecdotes of the life
I never asked.
Oh this peculiar heart desires
to be erased from minds she couldn't fathom loved her or not,
Disperse and float with the river
singing whispers of songs about
Dark nights, aching hearts and careless lovers.
Never to return
always on a restful run,
I won't bend to anyone's intentions,
I flow and fly never to be caught.
