Queen

By Luckyborn Rymbai

I feel like ‘twas yesterday, when we first met, at time I thought I've found my precious princess. I've been living a euphoric life in a delusional world lately, until a bitter truth come unveiled knocking me back into reality.

She got those eyes glaring at my sight, scared my glance away to my own plight. And when I take a look at her properly, I saw she got an eyes of a fine lady. She got her hair undone falling, like a twin ‘fall in the morning. She got her body well tended and freshens, bearing a light aroma of a fine spring. She got a spirit of a small child and stand her ground like a grownup lady. She smoothen her voice like a girl and speak up her tone like a daring woman.

It'll always come back to that one evening, on the way back to your home we went strolling, when goodbye is nigh and I saw you're gone. I realised you're not at my sight anymore, and I wished the night was a little longer. Maybe I have grown vulnerable and weak at the sight of your intoxicating eyes, for there's current in my veins rushing adrenaline into the weakest spot of my heart. I can't hide them anymore, these feelings got glittering snowflakes sparkling like a morning dew. I can't hold back my tongue, these words got a beating melody tuning through my bloods and bones.
