OBLIVION

Oblivion
Oblivion is inevitable!
Then why do we fear it?
I think it is all in the mind.
For some, it may be a reason to live.
For others, it may be a reason to die.
Our bodies are perishable.
One day they will return to the dust,
Dust where they came from.
But our souls aren't, and humans have souls.
Knowing one's soul is what matters the most.
Why fear a phenomena that isn't in our control?
Why not focus on something worthwhile instead?
The day I took hold of my magical pen, Words started dancing all around,
Choreographing them to the beats of my musings,
A wordsmith and a storyteller I became.
And they became my catharsis-my real solace.
The eloquence of my words!
The intensity of my feelings!
The honesty of my thoughts!
The benevolence of my soul!
And the heart of a lover!
When mingled with my ink...
A mellifluous zephyr they became creating soothing vibes around,
A refreshing effervescence that bubbled magic into the lives of many,
Whose unsaid feelings were voiced by me.
Solitude helped me heal!
Gratitude made me prosper!
Bowing my head before the Supreme power,
Reaffirmed my belief in the miraculous power of unsaid prayers!
Extremes don't scare me now.
I fear nothing as I AM free!
Unshackled and Unaffected!
In a state of Sophrosyne!
My heart and my mind reside in higher realms now,
And I continue to do my work,
With true dedication and utmost passion.
Living a meaningful life!
Leading by example!
Fighting all odds!
Crafting our creativity!
Shouldn't this be our only concern?
Being forgotten or being remembered.!
Believe Me...
This wouldn't matter then
And your phobia would metamorphosise into a boon,
Leaving you fearless and ecstatic forever,
And ever and ever.
