Mirror mirror
On the wall
Who is he
But a false dawn
He speaks politely
And treads carefully
He’s kind
Yet completely blind
Mirror mirror
On the wall
Who is he
But an ignorant liaison
He’s active online
Boastful about his robust spine
He’s strongly pious
Ignoring his own bias
Mirror mirror
On the wall
Who is he
But a chosen pawn
He calls for action
Everyday a new distraction
He fights the needy
But feeds the guilty
Mirror mirror
On the wall
Who is he
But an imposter when the curtain falls
His compassion is strong
His energy is abound
His efforts seem worthwhile
While he sheds many a crocodile
His pretence doesn’t subside
It’s odd seeing him cry
But from this distance
The mirror never lies
