I took a walk barefoot

The other day I took a walk barefoot into the forest,
The birds singing, the animals staring, the world passing by without any rest.
But for a moment I felt time pausing,
I looked around in awe and Oh! it was so amusing,
The trees, the birds, the breeze and the peace,
It felt like a dream or alteast one of it's piece,
The wind told me,"We pass through the woods everyday, but even a moment of peace goes a long way."
As if it wanted to tell me something,
To remember whenever the world would start taunting,
About the day, I went into the woods barefoot, walking.
