hydrogen and oxygen make water,
night and day make time,
i keep thinking,
about the days you were mine.
fire and ice comprise the elements,
earth and the air do too,
turns out, i was just an
experiment to you.
loud and quiet form the waves
of sound, a mistake.
who ever thought,
you'd be such a snake
i was supposed to be your final kiss,
though you were my first,
sucks to be me,
you left at my worst.
north and the south, attracted initially,
turned into quite hostile energy.
opposites attract, they say,
who knew love could be so gray.
you were sunshine, i was rain,
midnight, without refrain.
a flood left me, while you shined,
im honestly glad, that now,
you're not mine.
