"The world goes upside down
as I lie with my head back
and my heart facing up to the stars.
For the longest time, I have seen the world
in different shades, the subtle intricacies
shouting loud in my face,
demanding attention towards
the hints of divine that are
always existing within the ordinary.
These mystic hints call for me
to make something greater
of my fleeting existence here.
Everything around is
constantly speaking to me
of their own ways of making sense
of these hints:
the birds chirp and tell of how their
inner compass always gets them home at the end of the day,
the flowers tell me how they bloom
regardless of the happenings of the world,
the moon tells me how its phases
are not for it to decide alone.
Everything continues to happen
regardless of our doing.
Nature has its own seamless
way of moving forward within this creative expanse of time.
Isn’t this such a relief?
For now, I can return back to lying down with my head back,
and be a silent, joyous witness
of this surreal creation."
