A Girl Made Me a Man

BY MAYUR P

I was a boy, speeding ride, my guilty pleasure.
Fighting without reason, a wired creature.

Until I went to the deepest place ever.
"Nothing can escape a black hole", Einstein signifies,
Guess I was dumb to think I could escape her eyes.

Now Dark circles proclaimed my night's fear,
fallen strand of 134369 hairs, to me each one is dear

Itch for her hair clip on my shirt more than any cologne,
I adore her flowing hair, echoes my heart's tone.

I told her how I felt,
"You deserve someone better" pinned in my head.
Shh...listen, don't you hear?
I'm crying, but they are silent tear.
Smile on my face, when i am far-off from joy
Finally, I learned to be a man leaving my boyhood behind.
