Retour À La Maison

Sri

You were gone, before I realized
And nothing did really change ;
Only the ever consuming schedule
No more jeopardized
Or, the surreality of the rail tracks
The isolated seat at the platform,
Without a soul to haunt
Perpetually;
The toy stories faded in some
Oblivious, dusty corner
Buried amidst the heaps
Of jargons, highs and lows
Tumultuous and jaded-
With the flow.
Lost?
And embraced, without
A woe. The return betrayed;
Of all that was supposed
To go. Wherein reinforced
With a strength superseding
All the blows.
In retrograde metamorphosis
Of the days of yore;
The patent corners huffed up.
Once more!
Curled up fingers and promises
Unfinished,
Vaporized into an; unanimous
Élan, ravished.
Dusk serenading
Over the cold and cornered
Allies
Strewn with some bricks and sticks,
Infusing it with warmth
As, the sun returned-
To the shore.
Embracing the calm waters
In a vivacious passion
Whilst two shadows, drenched;
In reminiscence
Journeyed from dusk
To an amalgamated
Moonlight...
