Light of Strength

Anant Vijay

Looking out for the stars,
I found the moon;
With her brownish curls,
And a lovely bloom.
And I call her radiance,
My light of strength.
Lost in the memories,
With a tear or two.
But her presence;
It made them clear too.
And I call her radiance,
My light of strength.
Don't know if it's love,
Don't even want to know;
All I feel is a sensation,
Looking at her glow.
And I call her radiance,
My light of strength.
Oh I wished for her long,
To rescue this unfortunate soul.
For I was dumb;
Occupied with looking for the brightest star,
When the moon was already there,
Shining in the sky;
Ready to love this lone-wolf.
Now, every night seems perfect.
I can see the moon shining,
And the wolf howling;
With the moon's radiance,
Being the light of strength for the wolf.
