Lost many a job, and equal chances
As I lost life,thinking,
Of those thick rimmed glasses
The glasses and the gaze behind
The happiness penetrating my mind
Covering the self, with a glaze of gleam
Regardless of what will be or had been.
As the gaze did shift, my thoughts did drift
To the corners of sanity,
As I thanked fate, for this great gift
That stared at humanity.
Lost many a mind, and equal glances
As I lost life,thinking …
Of those thick rimmed glasses
Staring at the sky one starry night
Saw the comet tearing bright
Rejoicing, in its momentous existence
My heart did fly,in its persistence
To find the one that conquered masses
With her gaze behind those thick rimmed glasses!
