Dusk Falls, Yet Again

By Meghna Nair

The sun streaked

The dark tresses of the night.

Time ebbed and flowed

Into yet another dawn.

In this cornucopia

Of colours and footsteps

That evade my eyes and ears,

I meander, digress and disappear

behind the verbose walls

of my labyrinth heart.

I stand at the centre, once again,

In silence, as dusk falls

Around my solitude,

Yet again.
