Wingword Poetry Competition
Delhi Poetry Slam sponsors the Wingword Poetry Prize, a competition that is open to all Indians who love to write poetry ✍️
The competition is held online for beginners in poetry, awarding a total sum of 8 Lakh Rupees in prizes to winners every year.
The first prize winner receives ₹ 50,000 and an opportunity to have their poetry book published.
We are now accepting submissions for Wingword Poetry Competition from August 2025.
Results of Past Competition
If you participated in Wingword Poetry Competition (until June 2025), the winners have now been announced.
Prantik Banerjee from Pune, Maharashtra won INR 50,000 in the Main Category.
Koustov Mukhopadhyay from Purulia, West Bengal won INR 25,000 in the Regional Languages Category.
Congratulations to all winners and participants who expressed themselves through their words, honestly and openly.
